SUMMARY Responsible for hourly staffing, administration of department functions, benefits and worker's compensation administration, and employee payroll.
Due to the nature of the position, a high level of confidentially must be maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Initial interviewing and completion of new hire paperwork.
Orientation of new employees.
Administer insurance and benefits for employees.
Assist with annual open enrollment.
Enter payroll and distribute paychecks on a bi-weekly basis.
Ensure that hourly time is approved by supervisors/managers in order to meet payroll deadlines.
Ensure that monthly personnel reports are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure worker's compensation, safety and turnover charts are updated weekly/monthly.
Administer and closely monitor all worker's compensation claims.
Follow through with employee's recovery and return to work status for worker's compensation claims.
Maintain OSHA 300 log.
Administer and monitor FMLA and short term disability claims.
Maintain employee training files and oversee that training records are up-to-date for all employees.
Assist with the training of employees.

Coordinate safety activities and audits.
Follow through for completion.
Prepare monthly/annual reviews.
Track reviews for timeliness to payroll.
Assist/direct all employees when issues arise.
Assist with answering the phone.
Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned.
Educate, maintain, follow and review TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
Promote safety and correct unsafe work practices.
Promote and maintain a clean work environment consistent with 5S practices.
Participate in and encourage continuous improvement ideas, activities and efforts.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; 2
years related experience preferred.
Mechanical background preferred.
Knowledge of cold heading dies, punches, pins and roll thread dies preferred.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, and MRP system) Blueprint reading.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
